Providing a comfortable and lively environment to train beside a handful of other sound people, who’ll be on your wavelength.

If you need a kick up the arse and want stop feeling older than you are….

or you want to crank your performance up a level,

then welcome to the best wee ‘not a normal gym’ Glasgow has seen.

But listen, if you’re not into hard graft, bangin’ tunes and a lively atmosphere, then Specific’s not really for you.

We’ll design you a personal training programme to suit you and your goals.

We’ll also provide sensible eating guidance (no cucumber and chicken diets) and support you with the nutrition side of things too.

If you want to train to;

  • get rid of the Balotelli

  • get feeling back to your old self

  • become leaner & more athletic

  • boost physical performance for sport

then all you need to do is turn up and do the work.


This is good auld fashioned liftin’. #NothinFancy or gimmicky. Just the bread & butter stuff, done very well.

It’s not Cr*$$fit (don’t use the C word please, thanks).

It’s defo not Hyrox.

It’s not circuits just designed to burst you.

We give you good quality coaching on lifting weights.

We also have an in-house Physio to look after our members as part of the service.


GET A WEEK PASS TO TRY US OUT

We limit it to only SIX members per session to make sure that you get the best from the training.

We conduct monthly mesuremtents to give you tangible results and keep you on-track.

We train retired ravers, sparkies, footballers, hairdressers, joiners, joiners that box….

It’s a mix of people all on the same wavelength….get in, graft and get out……… and get a wee laugh while we do it.

We know life’s busy so we’re flexible here at Specific. You don’t need to be a strict night time or morning person, you can chop and change sessions to suit your own work/life (being a maw) schedule.

Sessions are all an hour long and run at the times below:

Monday to Friday 

  • 6am

  • 7am

  • 9:30am

  • 6:30pm

Saturday

  • 8am

  • 9am

Showers and changing rooms are available.

We stay in touch directly with all of our Lift It crew via weekly check-ins, to make sure that you’re sticking to the plan outside of the sessions…..and sometimes to give you a wee nudge to see where you’ve been. 👀

Coaching Costs:   

£225 per month | 12-15 sessions (3 per week)

£150 per month | 8-10 sessions (2 per week)
